Protek R - Fuel Lubricant

Every rotary needs Pettit Racing Protek R. A synthetic fuel lubricant developed by Pettit for use in their 24 hour endurance racing, it gives the rotary engine the extra lubrication it needs.

Designed to burn cleanly and give an even lubrication, across the entire engine (something the OMP oil injectors can easily fail to do), Protek R should be used in every tank of fuel.

Add 120ml per tank, prior to refilling the tank, or 240ml if on track. For race applications, higher blends can be used with race fuel.
Available in easy to use multi bottle packs, or economic 4L jerrycan

The OEM Mazda coil packs can be prone to failure, especially in the earlier models. Since then Mazda have upped the standards of the coil packs, but we still recommend changing them every 30,000 miles or so, to maintain optimum performance

Join Bespoke Performance, Pettit Racing UK, and Mazda on Track at the fantastic Snetterton 300 Circuit on July 26th, 2012.

Its a full day of Open Pitlane action, just for us, with a novice session to start with, to break everyone in, nice and gently.

3 Miles of beautifully laid out track, wih 2 hairpins, 2 long straights, and 2 great complexes onto the straights.

Tuition is available on request, so please get in touch to discuss what you might want. From a single session to all day private tuition.
The "Normal session" is an open pitlane session from 9 til 5 (approx).
Evening will be 6-9 (approx) and full day will be all sessions.

An extra driver can be booked to share a car, at a cost of £40

ECON electronic damping control

Cusco Zero-II (pillow ball or urethane) coil over suspension for the RX8 is a great choice for top quality and all out suspension performance. Cusco’s name is number one when it comes to suspension in Japan.

Fully and easily adjustable with 5 settings for damping and fully ride height adjustable, they are the perfect coilovers for someone wanting to maintain the RX8’s factory designed long stroke suspension yet have the ability to drop and stiffen up for track day use.
Normally available with pillowball mounts, Pettit recommend the Urethane mounts for normal street use, as the pillowballs will wear quicker and can transmit unwanted road harmonics and make noise, in fact, if you’re on the street at all urethane is usually a better choice, delivering a smooth quiet ride with nearly as good performance and often better than a worn pillow ball type.

What makes the Cusco Zero II a standout? The addition of the Cusco ECON controller. Control your cars damping from the comfort of your cabin, and adjust on the fly (or at the track!). This mod is especially useful on the RX8, as the rear coilover adjusters are hidden away behind a steel bulkhead above the rear arches.

Bushings are the forgotten component of suspension. After all, a shiny coilover is a lot sexier than a small chunk of rubber.
However, bad bushings mean bad suspension. The older a car is, and the harder its been use, or the harsher the conditions its been operating in, the more likely it is it will need fresh bushes.

Thats where SuperPro come in. The makers of the best bushes out there take time and trouble to get it right, and to make those little chunks of polyurethane offer a bit more, for example with their camber offset options.

When you are replacing suspension its the perfect chance to get in with long lasting, high performance bushes.

SuperPro's comprehensive range includes a full (68 piece!) bushing set for the RX8, individual sets if you need them, and we offer a recommended "bare minimum" pack, to be used when ordering a new set of coilovers. After all, if you are going to do your suspension, why not do it right?

Its not only us who recommend Eibach springs for the RX8. So do Mazda! They turned to Eibach for help developing the imporved suspension for the PZ and R3 versions of the car. With years of top quality suspension work behind them, and many motorsports honours, we are happy to offer Eibach's RX8 spring set. These should lower your 8 to give a firmer, sportier ride, and a lower centre of gravity.

The Trak Pro Front Stay Bar (anti-roll) fits all RX8 models and is designed to work with the stock rear stay bar (anti roll) improving stability (less body roll) through curves or when cornering at speed, as well as providing better response and feedback from steering inputs. More cornering force (lateral acceleration / G’s) and better driver feedback not only adds confidence but is more fun, another benefit is minimizing power oversteer (loose rear) especially with performance upgrades that add power. A Trak Pro Stay Bar will make you faster!!

Three way adjustable via special end mounts allows precise tuning for optimizing grip under most conditions. CNC machined billet steel adjuster and all top quality materials used to manufacture this part in the USA.

For NA Rx8s we also recommend combining with a Racing Beat rear ARB
Average installation time 30 minutes, mounts in stock location with ordinary hand tools and requires the front of the car to be raised.

The Racing Beat rear anti roll bar will complement a Pettit Front anti roll bar.
We prefer the Pettit front ARB as it has a 3 way adjustable end link point.

Pettit’s Stage II brake upgrade kit improves on the already great brakes of the RX8 by adding slotted vented rotors for improved cooling and so less brake overheating and fade, and up-rated Hawk HPS brake pads.
Another option are Pettit Racings 'Super Street" SS pads.

Stainless steel brake lines give improved brake pedal feel and resist wear and tear better then OEM rubber lines.

A great upgrade for a keen track day driver.

For pure track applications we can offer Hawk 9012 Blue brake pad upgrades, but they are not suitable for street driving due to their higher temperature resistance and warm up time.

We recommend installation of brakes be done by a professional as they are a critical safety system

Need to push out your stock wheels? Need to fit something crazy? Just bought wheels in the wrong offset? Wide arch kit making your wheels vanish?

Eibach have the answer. Their top quality wheel spacers allow you to adjust with confidence, with a full range of sizes for the RX8 from 5mm to 30mm

NOTE: A system has longer studs, B system has separate studs for the spacer collar

We recoomend the 15mm studs for ease of fitment with OEM wheels, but the 20mm will also fit.
HOWEVER: Please note that for the 15mm system to work you must check your wheels for scallops on the back of the hubs for the spacer nuts to fit into..
Some RX8 wheels have them, others dont. You must check all 4 wheels.

FORGED LIGHTWEIGHT Series

These beautiful nuts are available in a wide range of colours. Featuring slim lightweight build and with a spline key (included) which acts a virtual lock, they are also available witha true lock nut option (features an offset spline)

Not only that but they are Performance option!

The regualr tuner style nuts usually offer a weight saving over regualr nuts due to their slimline design and lightweight material, a weight advantage that can be further increased with the frankly unbelievable aircraft grade aluminium lightweight forged material, which is super strong and SUPER Light.
A regular 19mm Hex nut (from a TVR for example) weighs in at 50g. Our forged lightweight nuts are under 10g!!!!!
(Even a regular tuner nut comes in at about 30g, in itself a nice saving)

A whole 5 stud wheel set weighs only as much as one regular nut! Over 4 wheels thats a substantial rotational weight saving, aiding performance.

We stock Silver, Black, Red and Blue, but you can order any of the fabulous range shown in the picture as well:
