Every rotary needs Pettit Racing Protek R. A synthetic fuel lubricant developed by Pettit for use in their 24 hour endurance racing, it gives the rotary engine the extra lubrication it needs.

Designed to burn cleanly and give an even lubrication, across the entire engine (something the OMP oil injectors can easily fail to do), Protek R should be used in every tank of fuel.

Add 120ml per tank, prior to refilling the tank, or 240ml if on track. For race applications, higher blends can be used with race fuel.

Its a full day of Open Pitlane action, just for us, with a novice session to start with, to break everyone in, nice and gently.

3 Miles of beautifully laid out track, wih 2 hairpins, 2 long straights, and 2 great complexes onto the straights.

Tuition is available on request, so please get in touch to discuss what you might want. From a single session to all day private tuition.
The "Normal session" is an open pitlane session from 9 til 5 (approx).
Evening will be 6-9 (approx) and full day will be all sessions.

An extra driver can be booked to share a car, at a cost of £40

Pettit Racing / Milltek RX8 Full exhaust system
Pettit Racing have teamed up with Milltek to develop the ultimate RX8 exhausts system.

Developed from a high flow, high quality 'ultra tuner' HJS 200 CEL cat, with resonator, and replaceable cat section, to a full 3 inch dual rear box cat back system, with huge 4 inch tips shaped to match the curves of the rear of the RX8s valances, and with air cooled tips to help protect the valances, this is a beautiful and high quality system.

Saving 7 KG over the OEM system if the whole system is used, it also helps reduce backpressure and release a sportier tone, while keeping cabin noise under control to avoid irritation while cruising. (Cat section 5KG lighter than stock, catback 2KG lighter than stock)

Not only that but you can buy the COMPLETE modular system from the hi flow cat through to the tips, for less than an OEM Mazda catalytic converter. I know which one I would buy!

The Pettit Milltek system is now designed for series 1 RX8s and series 2. R3 Models.

Also note the resonated hi flow cat and race-pipe are designed for use soley with our Pettit catback, using our flangeless slip joint to further reduce weight and exhaust resitrictions.

Racing Beat cat back
The Racing Beat REV8 street legal, cat-back exhaust system is the perfect replacement for your stock RX-8 exhaust - a durable assembly offering a real horsepower gain over your stock unit. Our system consists of a 304 stainless steel Racing Beat connecting-pipe, muffler canisters, tubing, flanges, and outlet tips.

he replacement connecting-pipe is manufactured using 3-inch (OD) tubing and features cast stainless steel flanges for positive exhaust gas sealing. The stainless steel muffler canisters are each finished with 4-inch, polished 304 stainless tips for an aggressive look.
NB. While Racing Beat support the new 2009+ R3 model, it is a different fit. The R3 model Racing Beat catback comes in 2 styles. The same as above, and a new "Twin Tip" finish, as in the picture below.

Axial Flow Short Shifter for 6 Speed RX8
This shifter is best explained by the Axial Flow website (see below)

"The Axialflow Engineering Shifter is the best made anywhere by anyone. Typical construction is 303 stainless steel shafts, machined in house on our modern CNC equipment. Attached components are of like materials. Polymer parts are typically CNC machined from DuPont Delrin, an engineering polymer. Pivot pins are hardened to 60 on the Rockwell C scale. The engineering is aimed at optimizing the geometry for the shortest shift practical for road driving. We concentrate on "feel" or "quality" of the movement. Typically there is a reduction in the height of the knob for a better ergonomic relationship with the driver. The factory has to make compromises for the driver who is really not the sports type. We cater to the small segment who are looking for a real relationship with their car. It is hard to express the accuracy of placement and if you track your car this means better times. All Axialflow Shifters are warranted for the life of the car to the original buyer. If it ever wears or fails we will fix or replace it free, no questions asked. All you pay is the S&H, same as when you bought it. While we can't express the feeling, our customers can. "

These Kits provide superior engagement from improved friction materials as well as smooth operation and extended life. Special Features Include: Balanced Pressure Plate and Heavy Duty Disk, release bearing, pilot bearing, pilot bearing seal, stainless braided clutch line, alignment tool and instructions............Most kits don't include the clutch line or pilot bearing seal.

Pettit Rally Clutch is for 6 speed models. For a 5 speed 192, we recommend an OEM replacement, or if you want a performance upgrade, mating the Pettit Rally Clutch to our Pettit Lightweight Flywheel.

Pettit Racing Light Cromoly Flywheel
A light flywheel is one of the best simple performance mods you can make to an NA RX8. The rotary engine makes its top power at the top of the rev range. The faster you get to the top of the rev range the faster you get to your power. And that’s where a light flywheel shines!

Bogging down on standing launches? Well a light flywheel should cure those problems too. The standard flywheel is nearly 17 pounds, whereas the new Pettit Cromoly flywheel is a shade over 11 (at 11.33 pounds, slightly lighter than the Racing Beat, and also stronger than aluminium as well).
The Pettit Cromoly flywheel comes complete with the required counterweight. A simple mod that makes a surprisingly big difference. Combine it with the Pettit ANP “All Natural Power” package for the ultimate NA RX8 performance pack.

Driveline install tip: If your clutch is worn, why not add a flywheel at the same time, as the labour cost will be minimal as they located in the same housing. OR if you are putting in a new flywheel why not upgrade your clutch while the work is being done?
NB. A lightflywheel will only mate to a 230 model clutch assembly. Therefore to fit a flywheel to a 192 model RX8, clutch modifications will also be necassary.

Pettit’s twin screw supercharger system for the RX8 gives the car the power and torque boost that propel it into the ’perfect sports car’ range. 300+ HP means better acceleration, more flexibility in the gears and more power on the straights and uphill. Your RX8 will become the car you always dreamed it could be. Easy to install, reliable and managed by the RX8’s on board PCM, Pettit’s supercharger targets the RX8’s only real short coming and brings the power levels up to match its handling and braking abilities.
The kit is designed as the perfect match for a standard car, and no other systems require upgrading. Just plug and play for REAL Zoom Zoom motoring!

For those hungry for even more power, an up-rated Stage III kit will also be released. (It will be possible to upgrade from a stage II system to a stage III system easily). The stage III kit comprises uprated fuel injectors and higher boost pulley (to about 12psi), but should be accompanied by supporting modifications of other systems dependant on the aims of the car.
